Access Bridge and Craneway Freudenau
Project details
In the course of the building activities for the Freudenau river power station in Vienna from 1993 to 1998, Waagner Biro could prove its skills in technology, design and installation of two bridge supporting structures (access bridge as cable-stayed structure, gantry craneway with arched supports). Both bridge structures are characterized by distinctive large circular openings in the girder webs. The arch bridge has a total length of 184.7m. The access bridge has a total length of 109.2m.
