CHARACTERISTICS 

Thanks to Waagner Biro stand travelling gears no mechanical locking of the rows is required – load is transferred by large-area pressure distributing skids which is easy on the floor. The system structure allows for easy and rapid cleaning of the stands. Fastening of add-on units almost without any tools.

The components are designed for long durability.

When the stands are retracted, the front is a rebounding surface with wooden cladding or with impact protection. Sport hall stands with continuous bench seating.

The stand construction is made of structural steel sections. Walking surfaces of plywood boards. The walking surfaces can be carried out according to the customer’s requirements, e.g. as plywood boards with floor cover or as film-coated plywood boards. The loads transferred by the running wheels onto the hall floor are limited to < 0.5 N/mm² and those transferred by large support areas to < 1 N/mm² with full load. The rows of seats of smaller units are extended and retracted manually or by means of mechanical running carriages. For larger block units we recommend permanently installed friction wheel drives with electric control. The joint design of the baffle wall is adjustable.
